- The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ),FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to The Entwistle Company. for a replacement Stern Chock Cover in support of the Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC), Mayport, FL. ENTWISTLE, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), is the sole provider of their equipment, maintenance calibration, and training. All equipment and materials are patented copyrighted and are only distributed by ENTWISTLE. ENTWISTLE is the only entity that can execute this work as a number of key proprietary elements, the specific content and strategies, are not available from other sources. ENTWISTLE is the equipment, training, and calibration designer and, as such, has full proprietary rights and they are not releasing it to any vendor. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that these items fall under is 332999, with a size standard of 750 number of employees. The notice of intent is for information purposes only. This notice does not constitute a request for a proposal, request for quote or an invitation to bid. All sources eligible to provide the requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received, within two (2) calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable items are available, and that this is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product through a soles source contract, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
