Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Research Unit located at Stoneville, Mississippi, has a requirement to Sawcut Asphalt and Install Concrete.� The work includes but is not limited to:� The contractor sawcut existing asphalt, excavate existing asphalt and soil, furnish/install compacted crushed limestone, pour Concrete Slab @ 4000 PSI with steel rebar. This project is on the east side of Bldg. #21 at USDA Cotton Ginning Laboratory, located at 111 Experiment Station Road in Stoneville, MS. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract.� The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 237310 with a size standard of $45.0 M.� Contractors shall not directly contact the�facility to discuss this requirement.� During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about April 02, 2023.� This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
