Description

Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action Solicitation Number 140R1023B0001 Kachess Dam Modification Phase 1 � Site Preparation, Yakima Project, Washington Synopsis: The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia Pacific-Northwest Region, has a need for site prep construction at Kachess Dam Modification Phase 1- Site Preparation. Work is located approximately 45 miles northwest of Ellensburg, Washington in Kittitas County. Work is for constructing new and improving existing roads in and around the dam and tree clearing and preparation of contractor use areas for the benefit of the future dam modifications. Principal components of the work include: � Tree clearing. � Access Road construction. � Preparation of contractor use areas for the benefit of a future modification. � Installation of electrical conduit along new access road. � Installation of a security gate. � Installation of temporary and permanent erosion control features This requirement will be competed as an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise Set-Aside as defined in DIAR 1452.280-1 Notice of Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise set-aside and DIAR 1480.201 Definitions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this project is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $19.0 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. The Rough order of Magnitude (ROM) for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be issued no sooner than 15 days from the day after this notice, at https://sam.gov, however, dates in this notice are subject to change. The solicitation will close no sooner than 30 days after its issuance. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site.
