- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Sole Source. The Government has determined that only one responsible source is available, and no other services will satisfy agency requirements due to the unique circumstances of this contact action. Select Vendor: Behavior Care Specialists, Inc. Dba ABAeCare 1105 W. Russell Street Sioux Falls, SD 57104 BIE has a need for Education Support Services at Pine Ridge School in Pine Ridge, SD. The anticipated period of performance will be from 04/01/2023 � 03/31/2024. The anticipated cost is $40,040.00. The school is responsible for providing a high-quality general education and Special Education programming for children with disabilities. The school is not capable of providing a student on an Individual Education Plan with the right education and environment which the student needs to transition into adulthood. Aftercare transition, academic, and behavior support services will be provided under this contract. Support service is intended to help the student transition from a residential facility placement back into the local school setting. It is not in the best interest of the Government to change the service provider as not to jeopardize or delay progress. A solicitation will not be made available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 911710, Educational Support Services.
