- Warfighter Health, Performance and Evacuation Project Management Office (WHPE PMO) of the US Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA) has a requirement to purchase a CNC Knee Milling Machine and additional services as described below: Task 1: �Contractor will provide a CNC Knee Milling Machine that meets the minimum essential characteristics listed below: Option 1: Overview System will consist of a Bridgeport Series 1 Knee Mill with a 3 Axis CNC Upgrade Kit and Controller installed. CNC Upgrade Kit and Controller Z Axis CNC Control on Knee X, Y Axis CNC Control on Table Spindle Speed CNC Controlled (Variable Frequency Drive) Pendant Hand Wheel Ball Screws (X and Y Axes) M Function Conversational Programming Programable Flood Coolant with Manual Control Button on Controller X Axes Travel: approx. 36 inches Y Axes Travel: approx. 12 inches Z Axes Travel: approx. 16 inches 220 Single Phase Power Full Axes Simultaneous Control DRO Mode Braking Resistor Connection on Controller for HAAS Rotary Table Model HRT 210 P1 Knee Mill Model: Bridgeport Series 1 Knee Mill with all Standard Features Erickson #30 Quick Change Spindle Power Drawbar for 30 QC Spindle Table Size: 49 inches x 9 inches Turret Boom Out: 12 inches Turret Rotation: 360 Degrees Head Rotation Side to Side: 360 Degrees Head Tilt (UP): 45 Degrees Coolant Collection Tray with Coolant Pump Automatic Lubrication System for CNC applications Other The CNC Knee Mill System should come with an operation and maintenance manual, accessories, and a parts list of all supplies/items that accompany the system. Ability To Lift Machine from Bottom (forklift) One Year Warranty, Parts & Labor (min.) Documentation/Manuals That Cover: Programming, Operating, Maintenance, Parts, Electrical Schematics Task 2: Contractor will setup / install machine at Fort Detrick. Task 3: Contractor will complete diagnostic and performance verification that the equipment is in proper working order during setup.
