- Description
- The US Forrest Service intends to solicit and award a contract for two (2) M22 turnkey Type 2 Tactical Water Tenders per USDA Forest Service national standard specifications issued October 2022(c).� The contract award will include two (2) turnkey Type 2 Tactical Water Tenders, operational training, and delivery to locations within California and Arizona. Revision� Posted 3/6/2023 Attachment 2 Final _2023_Body_M22_watertender (Updated 3-6-2023) Please refer to these section of the Updated Specs dated 3/6/2023 for the most recent changes. Oct. 2022 1.2 NFPA 1906 Compliance 1.2.1 The apparatus described in this specification shall be compliant with the requirements of NFPA 1906, latest edition, except where noted. Any deviations from NFPA 1906 shall be noted in this specification or shall be approved in writing by the Government. March 2023 1.2 NFPA 1900 Compliance 1.2.1 The apparatus described in this specification shall be compliant with the requirements of NFPA 1900, latest edition, except where noted. Any deviations from NFPA 1900 shall be noted in this specification or shall be approved in writing by the Government. Oct. 2022 3.5 Back Up Alarm 3.5.1 One solid state back up alarm shall be provided at the rear of the apparatus protected from impact and debris. The back-up alarm shall be wired to the reverse circuit of the transmission and shall provide an audible alarm to the rear of the apparatus when reverse gear is selected. The alarm shall have a volume of 87 to 112 decibels while in operation. The back-up alarm shall have an operator override switch installed. March 2023 3.5 Back Up Alarm 3.5.1 One solid state back up alarm shall be provided at the rear of the apparatus protected from impact and debris.
