- 3/3/23 UPDATE:�Questions received prior to the deadline had to be researched and some changes to the PWS have been made.� There were also delays in responding due to issues with amending this solicitation via SAM.gov.� The due date of the proposals has been extended.� Updated documents (PWS, Cover Letter, Solicitation, and questions answers) are uploaded.� Please note that if any additional questions stem from these changes, the deadline is 13 March 2023 at noon.� Please submit to angela.port@us.af.mil. Changes to PWS are in Paragraph 4.11.1.1.� This para discusses a second simulator.� This is not a part of the current requirement but is likely to be added via modification at some point during the five year ordering period.� Please reference Q&As. --------------------------------------- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This SAPR is for the subject requirement to be awarded on a competitive best value basis, utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process. The acquisition will be conducted IAW FAR 13, as supplemented by the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS), and the specific requirements outlined in this request and attachments. The terms and conditions will be IAW FAR Part 12, and the specific requirements outlined in this request and its attachments.? The C-32A is a military derivative of the Boeing 757-200 commercial airliner that supports Executive Branch and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements. Air Mobility Command (AMC) acquires pilot classroom and simulator training from suitably equipped and certified civilian flight training centers.� Required training includes academic and simulator training for the following courses: Initial Qualification Pilot Training, Refresher Pilot Training, Pilot Recurring Evaluation Training, Pilot Requalification Training and Pilot Senior Officer Training. Training shall be conducted at a Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 142 approved training center. To be considered qualified, each contractor must possess an applicable training program approved under 14 CFR Part 121, or a training course approved under Part 142, applicable to the B757-200.�
