Description

The AN/SSN-2V(5) Precise Integrated Navigation System (PINS) project is in need of overhauling and refurbishing one (1) Battle Space Profiler (BSP) Winch. The BSP Winch is vital in the deployment and recovery of the BSP probe in the recording of water temperatures and salinity onboard MCM One Class Ships.� The overhaul and refurbishment addresses wear issues, part replacement, missing items and the entire overhaul and refurbishment for the BSP Winch. PINS support and repair for winches. The PINS project has a subsystem known as the Battle Space Profiler (BSP). The heart of the system is a special nonmagnetic, low Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI), and 901D shock approved winch for the Avenger MCM ship.
