Description
Solicitation Notice: NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is issuing this solicitation as a means of conducting market research to identify eligible parties having an interest in and the resources to support and furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to provide repairs for NSN: 4320-01-328-9050, P/N: 70654-23801-103, for the PUMP, ROTARY. This is a competitive (limited) requirement for the spares procurement of the item(s) identified on page 2 of this RFQ. Interested parties must be a NAVSUP WSS approved source of supply for this item in order to compete for the requirement. The Government intends to evaluate each proposal based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) methodology. Award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer.� A technically acceptable offer is one in which the offeror complies with the instructions contained in Section L of the solicitation and does not take exception, nor object, to any of the terms of this solicitation.� Offers that are not technically acceptable will not be considered for award. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair.
