36C24823Q0619 Page 1 of 1 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources with the capability to provide SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL services for the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) at Lake Nona and the Lake Baldwin VAMC in Orlando, Florida. The Contractor shall be responsible for allocating all equipment and personnel, including back-up resources, to provide solid waste collection and disposal services at the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) and affiliated facilities. This contract requires timely and responsive quality services. The Contractor shall provide for the removal, hauling, and disposal of garbage (Class I) and construction & demolition debris (Class III) waste. The Contractor shall furnish compactors and dumpsters, as needed. The contractor shall be responsible for delivery of the containers and any other necessary equipment at the start of the contract and as required (in the event quantities of waste materials increase) during the term of the contract, and as designated by the CO. The containers shall be fire resistant and will be approved by the Contracting Officer prior to placement at Government facility. Containers shall be delivered to and placed in the areas designated or directed by the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall be responsible for the removal of containers at accomplishment or termination of the contract. The Contractor shall provide legible, accurate, and compliant copies of manifests certifying the date of service, container size, type of waste, weight (tonnage) for each pick-up. This reporting shall be provided to the Orlando VAMC facility representative via e mail no later than the close of business on the 20th of each month for the month prior. This is a market research/sources sought synopsis only, (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5). This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. For the purpose of this acquisition, the NAICS code is 562111 and the small business size standard of $47,000,000.00 is applicable. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. Interested parties shall provide a capability statement that addresses the organization s qualifications and ability to perform as a prime contractor for Solid Waste Collection & Disposal. Capability statements shall include the following business information: SAM Unique Entity Identifier (SAM UEI) number Organization Name Organization Address Point of Contact (including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and Email address) Business size under NAICS: 562111 Socio-economic status (e.g. SDVOSB, VOSB, WO, etc..) Narrative that addresses the organization s qualification and ability to perform as a prime contractor for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal services. If teaming with another vendor, please explain the efforts to be performed by the prime and efforts to be performed by any subcontractor(s). Provide the number of solid waste vehicles in your fleet and the number of qualified solid waste drivers, and any license(s) or certification(s) for consideration.
