- N0016422FJ079 P00002 - SOLE SOURCE � PROCUREMENT OF MX-20D SENSOR SYSTEM AND DIGITAL MASTER CONTROL UNIT CONVERSION KITS, AND ASSOCIATED SUPPLIES� FSC�5855 � NAICS � 334511 Issue Date: 23 FEB 2023 Closing Date: 10 MAR 2023 2:00 PM EST SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- SYNOPSIS � Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the procurement of quantity one (1) each MX-20D (P/N 45003-21), quantity five (5) Digital Master Control Unit conversion kits, and associated supplies.� The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price Job Order modification N0016422FJ079 P00002 under the sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0016419GJQ58. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Canadian Commercial Corporation, 350 Albert St. Suite 700, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A OS6, Canada; 100% subcontracted to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) L3 Harris Wescam, 50 Leavitt Blvd, Waterdown, Ontario, L9H 0C5, Canada.� The BOA was awarded under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. �This is being sole sourced due to the lack of Technical Data Package, Intellectual Property, duplicative costs to the Government that are not expected to be recovered through competition, and unacceptable delays necessitated from developing any other source. �All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency. �However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of re-evaluating the justification for sole source or limitation of sources and making a determination to change the acquisition strategy to a competitive procurement. �This sole source action will not be posted to sam.gov and are available only from the POC identified below. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). �Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov.
