Description

The�U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Philadelphia District (NAP), Philadelphia, PA intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to W. & O. SUPPLY, INC.�(CAGE Code: 63544)� to verify system integrity at all stations on the Bridge and the Steering Gear Room as well as inspect, test, calibrate and repair the steering gear system after verifying system integrity.� Check for proper operation at all stations upon completion of repairs.� Ensure system is operating properly IAW with EMI design parameters.And perform a complete operational test of the system in the presence of the crew. This sole source award is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 336611 and the size standard is�$1,250.00. The purpose of this requirement is to verifying the steering system integrity. on the Dredge McFARLAND. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used a s part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETETIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the recertification of the Drege McFarland Rescue Boat. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is available.� The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, Philadelphia, PA intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to W. & O. SUPPLY, INC.�(CAGE Code: 63544).
