For request for solicitation; in the email subject line enter SPRRA1-23-R-0036, provide your name, the company name and CAGE Code and a telephone number and email address. PRON: AX3C0402AX. The Government proposes to acquire on a firm-fixed price One-Time Buy contract, a quantity of 60 each, ACTUATOR, ELECTRO-MECHANICAL, NSN: 1680-01-118-5605, Part Number: 145CS100-7 applicable to the A-BK CHINOOK weapon system. The estimated Production Lead Time with First Article Testing, 570 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to TRACY, CA. This item is restricted to: GE AVIATION SYSTEMS LLC., Cage Code 05624 and THE BOEING COMPANY., Cage Code 77272. This part required engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. This part must be acquired, for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR).
