Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal intends to award the following sole source contract action via modification to the competitively awarded Command Information Management Systems (CIMS) III Single Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (SAIDIQ) contract W91260-18-D-0001 with Summit Technical Solutions (STS), LLC, (STS), 7150 Campus Drive., Ste 210, Colorado Springs, CO 80920. �The anticipated purpose of this action is to extend the contract by 16 months from 16 Jul 2018 to 15 Jan 2024 to 16 Jul 2018 to 15 May 2025. �The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a).� For the purposes of applying this subsection, refer to 10 U.S.C. 3204 (a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� The CIMS III Contract provides the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command with non-commercial integrated Information Technology (IT) and Information Management (IM) solutions, supporting a combination of legacy and emerging IM technologies and services with a high degree of technical uncertainty.� Requirement includes all services, supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to support all functional areas to include, but not limited to Program Management, Engineering and Development Operations, Help Desk, Video Teleconference (VTC) Operations, Telecommunications, Network Administration Operations (Infrastructure), Systems Administration Operations (Computer Ops), Configuration Management, Cybersecurity Planning and Operations, Software Development/Management, Maintenance, Systems Integration and Maintenance, Electronic Security Systems/Monitoring and Special Projects.� Requirements support multiple SMDC organizations such as:� Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (SMDCOE), G3, G6, G8 and the Technical Center. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. �No contract will be awarded on the basis of responses to this notice. This synopsis/RFI is published for information purposes only. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement by email only as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Jennifer Baker, Jennifer.d.baker2.civ@army.mil. Statements are due by 10:00 A.M. Mountain Standard Time, 22 February 2023.� The Government will not reimburse for information submitted nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information or materials furnished in response to this notice. �A determination not to compete this proposed contract action upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
