- Request for Information RFI_FA8526-21423 C-17-Peculiar Support Equipment Test Set, Radar [NSN: 6625-01-618-8475, P/N: 17G013118-1] The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), C-17 Program Management Office, C-17 Logistics Sustainment Section (WLM), Robins AFB, GA is seeking capable, qualified contractors to build a specific quantity of the above-listed NSN and P/N. THIS NOTICE IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The purpose is to achieve a Sources Sought Synopsis for market research. The United States Government (USG) will not award a contract on the basis of this notice, or otherwise pay for information solicited by it. The requested information is for planning and market research purposes only and will not be publicly released. In accordance with FAR 15.201(E), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the USG to form a binding contract. The USG is not seeking proposals at this time. Respondents are advised that the USG will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is considered non-binding. All submissions become the property of the USG, and will not be returned. AFLCMC/WLM is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of completing this requirement. The USG will also use this information to determine the best�acquisition strategy based on the current capabilities and qualifications within the industry to meet the agency�s mission needs while providing contracting opportunities for small businesses. The USG requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status within the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide responses to the following questions and identify any anticipated teaming arrangements. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted is solely within the discretion of the USG. �Proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 336413 �REQUESTED INFORMATION � Please provide responses to the following questions: Is your company ISO 9001 or AS9100 certified? Does your company have an engineering department consisting of at least one mechanical engineer that has graduated from an ABET accredited engineering school? Has your company ever designed, developed, and manufactured support equipment based solely on a specification? Does your company manufacture both electrical and machined support equipment? Has your company been listed in the associated drawings for this NSN and P/N as an approved source? The Government has identified this NSN as a source-controlled item.� Is your company willing to design, develop, and manufacture one of these support equipment kits and go through Boeing�s pre-qualification and approval process to be added to the drawing as an approved source for the next time the government procures this item? There is no guarantee that this item will ever be procured again in the future.
