- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-08. (iv)This procurement is set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 115310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $10. Description of Requirement� The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, services, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, permits, licenses, insurance and other items and nonpersonal services necessary to perform the placement of an 8-ft rotary screw smolt trap in the Salmon River. We are requesting a boom truck with operator along with a laborer to safely set the rigging on the trap. Contractor to supply boom rigging. Smolt traps are to be placed in the river in during the last week of March 2023 and removal of the trap the end of June 2023. Boom truck must be capable of placing 500-pound pieces at a distance of 75 feet from the truck. See attached photo of Smolt Trap being placed in the Salmon River (Figure 1). Forest Service personnel will deliver all smolt trap parts as close as possible to the Salmon River via county road. Forest Service personnel will be present to ensure proper assembly of the smolt trap. Forest Service personnel will bolt trap together once trap parts are safely secured on the Salmon River (Figure 2). Date(s) and Place(s) of Delivery and Acceptance/Location a) Placement will be the last week of March 2023 (dependent on weather and stream flows). Operation typically 1.5 to 3 hours to place and assemble the 8-ft trap with Boom truck on Salmon River. b) Removal for Salmon River smolt trap will be the last week of June 2023. Typically, 1.5 - 3 hours to remove trap. Location: a) Salmon River, Still Creek, and Clear Fork near Zigzag, OR. See attached map (Figure 3) 52.212-2 Evaluation � Commercial Products and Commercial Services (NOV 2021) (Provision) (a) The Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
