Description

The Charge Nurse program consists of 2 courses for use by 2 groups of 350 Charge Nurse Leaders, accreditation of courses and 10 instructors and instructor training (Train-the-Trainer). The courses will include the following topics: (1) Improved Communication, (2) Conflict Resolution, (3) Interpersonal Relationships, and (4) Management Skills. Instructor training will be delivered in the classroom or web-based (virtual), flexible series of four highly interactive, evidence-based courses. On-line access for ANCC accreditation will be included. Each course topic will include course material for 350 students and instructor material for 10 instructors. Train the Training webinars will be conducted for up to 10 instructors and online access for instructor assistance. Online components are accessed via log-in to Catalyst Learning�s learning management system. An Instructor Portal contains the slide show-based course presentation, course resources, and reports. The participant portal provides access to course resources, the course evaluation, knowledge assessment, and certificate of completion upon meeting all course requirements.
