- Product: Railroad Materials (RRM hereafter) NAICS Code 331110 � Iron and Steel Mills and Ferroalloy Manufacturing. PSC: 2250 for Track Material Distribution Statement A: Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks qualified and responsible vendors to supply commercial market RRM items for end use by a USG RR maintenance and repair team at a USG manufacturing facility.� This announcement supports market research performed by the Army Contracting Command � Rock Island (ACC-RI) to determine vendor interest and vendor capability to provide the RRM described in this RFI. This RFI is for information purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any supplies or for the Government to pay for any information submitted in response to this RFI. �No reimbursement will be made for any vendor costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI or to any follow-up request for information. Consequently, no Solicitation is being issued at this time and no award will be made to any vendor that responds to this RFI. It is anticipated that subsequent procurement will be solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside and awarded under a firm-fixed-price stand-alone contract.� All deliveries will be FOB Destination Fort Hood, Texas 76544. Interested parties should provide the following information in response to this RFI: Include a statement of your firm�s intention to submit quotations for all listed RRM items. List specific skills and business experience ensure your firm�s capability to perform a Government requirement for RRM supply? Provide your firm�s UEI Number, CAGE Code, Tax ID Number, and Point of Contact Information. Include the number of the firm�s employees (for business size verification). Note any applicable Socioeconomic Business Class for your firm (Examples: Disadvantaged, Veteran Owned, HubZone, Women Owned, 8(a), ANC, NHO, etc.). Include the firm�s business name and office address location (for qualification country status verification).� Does your firm manufacture the RRM listed in this RFI? Does your firm use brokers or authorized distributors to distribute RRM products or is your firm willing to sell directly to the Government? How many calendar days would the firm require for shipment of RRM supplies from your firm�s site to Fort Hood, Texas 76544? Note that all shipment drivers are required to be vetted prior to deliveries being made under Fort Hood security and local receiving procedures.
