Description

631-18-003 Upgrade Electrical Phase 2, VA Medical Center Central Western Massachusetts Procurement Number: 36C24122B0013 This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. An invitation for bids will be posted on or about February 17, 2023. The VA Central Western Massachusetts (CWM) requires a contractor to provide professional services to carry out a multi-phased construction requirements of the Upgrade Electrical Phase 2 project located in Leeds, MA. This project includes preparing the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing electrical equipment, and furnishing labor and materials and performing work for correcting deficiencies for the as required by drawings and specifications. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237130 and the size standard is $45 Million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
