- Notice of Intent to Award a Limited Source Contract DLA Distribution Susquehanna, New Cumberland, PA intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for a Base Period of twelve months with four one-year Option Periods on a limited source basis in accordance with the FAR 6.302-1 �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements� to Recycling Equipment Corporation 831 W 5th Street, Landsale, PA 19446 for the procurement of maintenance services on an American Baler, Model 4016-50 (S/N 9198), with Allen Bradley Micro Logix 1500 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Hustler Conveyor System, B-9861. Contractor must be able to perform semi-annual preventative maintenance and triennial hydraulic oil changes. American Baler requires that only Authorized Dealers perform maintenance services on their equipment. Recycling Equipment Corporation is the only Authorized Dealer located in Pennsylvania that covers the Eastern portion of the state, which includes New Cumberland, PA. Interested contractors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 811310 with a small business size standard of $11,000,000.00 and PSC of J036. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. A solicitation will not be issued for this procurement action or posted to the single Government Point of Entry, the SAM.gov website. All responsible sources may respond by submitting qualifications/capabilities statement of the company by March 03, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. EST to Anthea Gladkowski, via email: anthea.gladkowski@dla.mil for consideration by the agency. If no affirmative responses are received, a purchase order will be awarded to Recycling Equipment Corporation.
