Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, New Jersey, intends to procure on a competitive basis, from qualified vendors, the design of improvement solutions assembly, and installation of hardware, software, computer system, and all associated material to upgrade the Proprotor Gearbox (PRBG) Test Stand, P/N 18D11062-1. The PRGB Test Stand is used at the Depot level of maintenance for V-22 aircraft at Fleet Readiness Center, East and is required to support all variants of the V-22 aircraft at the Depot Level where maintained. The test stand experiences unacceptable rates of failure and lengthy maintenance times. The Reliability & Maintainability of the PRGB Test Stand can be improved with changes to the torque and temperature measurement systems, oil control and monitoring system, heat exchanger system, water and oil plumbing, and re-written software.� The intention is to competitively award this requirement as a 100% Small Business Set-aside resulting in a Firm Fixed Price award. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination. Award will be made to the responsible small business whose proposal is technically acceptable and in full compliance to all other requirements set forth in the solicitation and presents the Best Value to the Government. The Government will release the solicitation,�N6833523R0107, including any subsequent amendments, on the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module portal at https://piee.eb.mil/ on or about March 2023 and will close no more than 60 days after the solicitation issue date. No telephone or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted.� Amendments to the solicitation, if issued, will be posted to the same portal.� After solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all the amendments. �Any and all questions pertaining to the solicitation once posted should be provided within 10 days of posting.
