Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Illumina Incorporated of San Diego, CA to provide full-maintenance service support for the MiSeqDx Sequencer, SN #M70989 in support of the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) at Lake Nona in Orlando, FL. NCO 8 anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order with one base period of 12 months and four (4) option periods of twelve (12) months. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $34.0 Million. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its services, as well as references from other customers using the same services to provide full-maintenance service support for the MiSeqDx Sequencer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Submit responses to the Contracting Officer at rohan.mckenzie@va.gov no later than11:00AM, February 16, 2023. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 8 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Illumina Inc.
