- The deadline to submit quotes in response to combined synopsis/solicitation 36C25223Q0320 is extended to Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, at 9:00 AM Local Time. Questions and Answers Questions are in black. Answers are in red. Q: To confirm, your expectation is that we provide the platform for this - is ZOOM suitable or are you looking for a completely independent option? A: The platform used to meet the requirements is a matter of quoter discretion. Q: Are you looking for one company to provide all of these wellness services or are you open to several companies working in tandem to provide one comprehensive fleet of services? A: This is a matter of quoter discretion. Q: Will this requirement be changed to a SDVOSB or VOSB set-aside? A: No. Market research conducted did not support a SDVOSB or VOSB set-aside. In order to maximize the opportunity for veteran participation, Veterans Involvement has been included as an evaluation factor to be considered during evaluation. Q: Page 3, ""The classes will be offered daily..."" -- confirming this includes weekends? A: Yes, this includes weekends. Q: Page 3, ""... with a variety of times."" -- What hours should classes be offered (for example, between 7am - 7pm CST, etc.)? A: No specific times are established. It is the quoter s responsibility to clearly identify their offerings. Q: Page 3, ""Wellness classes will include at minimum live yoga, tai chi, meditation, and mindfulness classes."" -- how many classes should be offered each day? And, what is the count for each class type (ie. 3 yoga, 2 tai chi, 2 meditation, and 1 mindfulness)? A: No specific numbers of each class are established. It is the quoter s responsibility to clearly identifying their offerings. Q: For the purpose of this requirement is it ok if we provide a set number of classes/day and offer private lessons as well? e.g. 2 to 3 group classes per day at specific times and an open amount for private lessons? A: It is the quoter s responsibility to clearly identify their offerings. Q: How long should each class be? A: No specific length is established. It is the quoter s responsibility to clearly identify their offerings. Q: The VA Great Lakes Health Care System, Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 12 has a requirement for unlimited live interactive online wellness classes. Please define unlimited. Q: Unlimited number of participants? A: VA employees and veterans within the region Q: Unlimited number of classes per participant? A: Yes Q: How many participants are expected to participate in the program? A: Currently, approximately 2000 eligible employees and veterans are registered. This number is provided for informational purposes and is anticipated to increase over time. Q: Contractor will provide fliers with registration instructions for employees and Veterans that will include language for those attending live offerings to be prepared to turn their camera on to create better communication and engagement with participants and assess participants pace, form, alignment, and safety as applicable. Q: Are fliers required to be digital or hard copy? A: Digital Q: Please define language. A: Instructions Q: Are classes to be provided in language other than English? A: This is not required. Offering classes in languages other than English is optional. Q: Metrics should include total number of users, total classes taken, usage per class, and total value of classes. Please clarify how value will be determined. A: Value is based on the Post Assessments VISN Contract attachment. Additional metrics not listed may be provided at the quoter s discretion. Q: No ePHI (electronic protected health information) will be transferred to the vendor. When determining safety and appropriateness of a participant to perform certain asanas (poses) in a yoga classes, participants are required to answer screening questions such as: do you have uncontrolled blood pressure, are you pregnant, have you had a hip replacement, have you ever been diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aneurysm, do you have back problems, have you had any injuries or surgeries on your shoulder, do you have mobility issues, do you have a deviated septum, etc. Will the need to ask these questions be a problem? A: We have never asked participants these questions in the past and have no intention of doing do. Q: Has a budget been set for this RFQ? A: Yes. Q: What is the time zone for Local Time? A: Local Time is currently Central Standard Time.
