Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice issued pursuant to FAR 5.201.� The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract on a competitive basis using FAR Part 15 Procedures. �NUWCDIVNPT has a requirement for alterations to several rooms within B1346. The proposed renovation includes removal of doors, door frames, interior finishes, light fixtures, and a computer room air conditioner; provision of doors and frames (standard and sound rated), metal stud partitions, flooring, acoustical ceilings, light fixtures, and minor modifications to the interior electrical distribution. The onsite supervision will require one (1) qualified individuals serving the roles of superintendent, quality control manager, and site safety and health officer. � Per FAR 36.204 - Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price is between $250,000 and $500,000. �Bonds and insurance will be required. This procurement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP).� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 236220.� The Small Business Size Standard is $39,500,000.00. The Product Service Code is Z2AZ, Repair Or Alteration Of Other Administrative Facilities And Service Buildings It is anticipated that an organized site visit will be conducted. �Further details will be released upon issuance of RFP# N6660423R0044, which is anticipated to be on or around 1 March 2023 and will be posted at�https://sam.gov. �Offerors are responsible for monitoring information posted at this website. �The closing date for receipt of proposal will be established in the RFP.� Potential offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. (See site https://www.sam.gov) Draft Plans & Specifications are attached.� A company does not have to be JCP certified to obtain this attachment.� The plans & specifications are designated Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and offerors must have an active CAGE Code to obtain the information.� To obtain copies of the attachments please request access via SAM.gov.
