This is not a solicitation or request for quote and no purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division, Norfolk, VA, on behalf of the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), intends to solicit for a Fleet-wide, Regional based, Multiple Award IDIQ to perform Dockside repairs on NOAA�s fleet of vessels.� The nature of the work to be performed primarily involves emergency, voyage repairs (field season technical support) and miscellaneous shipboard mechanical, structural, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.� Skills or tasks shall include, but not be limited to the following: Welding: all positions, all types, ferrous and non-ferrous, ABS certifications Ship Fitting Sandblasting, Mechanical Cleaning, Surface Preparation, and Painting Pipe Fitting Crane Services Hydraulic Systems Repairs, Service, and Troubleshooting Marine Electrician Services Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Sheet Metal and Ducting Machinists and Metal Fabrication Marine Deck Coverings Insulation, Sheathing, and Joiner Work Quality Assurance, Inspections, and Testing �Duration of the contract period: 60 Months Applicable NAICS: 336611 The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued via electronic posting under �Contract Opportunities� on the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) at https://sam.gov [formerly Federal Business Opportunity (FBO)]. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose quote represents the best value considering price and non-price factors. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued.� It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the GPE for the release of the RFQ, specifications, drawings and all subsequent amendments.� Many of the reference documents applicable to this RFQ are too numerous and/or too large to upload to this site; consequently, interested parties shall submit a request for access to the reference documents via email to the primary contact, the Contract Specialist, with a copy to the secondary contact, the Contracting Officer. Prospective quoters who are interested in submitting a quote for this acquisition are encouraged to register with the GPE and be included on the �Interested Vendors List� for this acquisition.� Quoters must be registered in the �Entity Registrations� [formerly System for Award Management (SAM)] database at https://sam.gov and must also obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and provide it with the quote. The proposed RFQ will be issued on or about 2/22/2023 with quotes due on or about 3/22/2023.� The anticipated award date is on or about 6/30/2023.
