Description

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office, West, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Meridian Bioscience Inc. to provide Curian Analyzer (610190) and Curian HpSA Assay (760130). FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325413 In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing. The size standard for this NAICS code is 1,250 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for a to Meridian Bioscience Inc. to provide Curian Analyzer (610190) and Curian HpSA Assay (760130). ��The vendor provided Meridian Bioscience Inc. letter indicating that the confirming that the Curian Analyzer, item number 610190, and the Curian HpSA test, item number 760130, are provided solely by Meridian Bioscience or an authorized distributor. There is no other HpSA test on the market that is compatible with our Curian Analyzer test. Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. A solicitation will not be published
