Description

The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to answer questions posed by industry. For the tracking chip required for the patient slings, will they be Government furnished? The SLING tracking chips, tracking system, and required weekly reports shall be furnished by the vendor. Loss Charges / LB are a line item on the pricing spreadsheet representing 15% of the pounds processed are lost and not returned to the service provider.  Are you asking for the linen replacement cost per pound (261,450 lbs.) anticipated to be priced into the grid? The quantities indicated in 0007AA and 1007AA are estimated quantities for linen losses in pounds. These quantities may fluctuate over the contract period of performance. We are requesting that the vendor indicate what/if any loss charges they will charge the government based upon these quantities of estimated loss.
