Description
The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project.� Responses will be used to assist in the feasibility determination to Set-aside for Small Business and/or Small Businesses with socio-economic status.� This notice is for market research and planning purposes only.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought notice or any follow up information requests. All interested parties should respond.� The US Marshals Service (USMS) JPATS intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to alter the JPATS Hangar located at Will Rogers World Airport, 5900 Air Cargo Road, OKlahoma City, OK. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All interested concerns should provide responses no later than 16 Februrary 2023.��Responses shall not exceed five (5) typewritten pages and must include: (1) Capabilities Statement (2) positive statement of intent to offer/propose as a prime contractor (3) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (attached) (4) a listing of relevant projects of similar size and scope completed during the past five (5) years, both for government and private industry.� The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate if your firm was the prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor.� (5) a brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to perform the contract. In the event that adequate Small Business interest is not received to determine SET-ASIDE feasibility, the project�may be advertised as UNRESTRICTED.� All responses shall be provided via email to: sheila.nimrod@usdoj.gov.� Include the following in the subject line-Sources Sought 15M30023SS3700031.� No facsimile responses will be honored. Objective: The primary objective of this Project is to modify JPATS existing hangar structure and install a tail door in each hangar bay with sufficient vertical and horizontal clearance to fully enclose a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.� Description of Work:� The scope of the project includes but is not limited to furnishing all designs, permits, materials, labor, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control, incidentals, and warranty required to perform and accomplish the Project. �All work will be performed in accordance with all applicable construction codes.�� The project includes two (2) primary tasks: Task 1: Design Services and Pre-Construction Services� The contractor will be responsible to perform the following Design Services and Pre-Construction Services which include, but are not limited to: ��� �Project design ��� �Construction Drawings ��� �As-Built Drawings ��� �Obtaining All Applicable Permits to include Will Rogers World Airport and Oklahoma City Permits ��� �Certification of Construction Bonds, Insurance / Certification of Liability ��� �Construction Schedule ��� �Detailed Project Work Plan / Rough Order of Magnitude ��� �Organization of pre-construction meetings ��� �All applicable Surveys Task 2: Deliverables and Construction Services� The contractor shall be responsible for all work / service pertaining to completion of the project as agreed to in the construction drawings. �The contractor shall also furnish supervision, all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and insurance required to complete the following to include, but not limited to:� ��� �Detailed Project Work Plan describing the activities and steps necessary to complete the tasks outlined in this statement of work which must be approved by JPATS Program Office / Contracting Offices Representative (COR). �The work plan shall include but not limited to: a.�� �The project management approach b.�� �Quality Control c.�� �Roles and responsibilities and d.�� �Project timeline laid out withing the ROM and align with the Magnitude of Construction. ��� �Approval of all design documents required by Will Rogers World Airport and Oklahoma City ��� �Demolition associated with the hangar modification ��� �Installation of a tail door in each hangar bay with sufficient vertical and horizontal clearance ��� �Relocation / installation of all applicable utilities ��� �All manuals and / or drawings (mechanical and electrical) associated with tail door ��� �Construction site clean up
