- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation synopsis for informational purposes only to make industry aware of an upcoming project requirement to be solicited.� This is NOT the Solicitation/Request for Proposal.� No solicitation yet exist, therefore do NOT request a copy of the solicitation, bid documents, specifications, or drawings.� Responses or proposals are not required at this time. The contract will consist of improving the effective drainage on Dodge Summit and Poverty Creek roads, USFS Road 470 and 7211. This contract will require the contractor to furnish labor, equipment (fully operated), supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals to complete this project in accordance with the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, and Special Project Provisions of this contract. The contractor shall be required to have a mapping program, like Avenza Maps, on their smart phone, tablet or GPS device that can read the pdf maps provided in the contract in order to display and locate the contract items.�� Project Location � RD 470 and 7211, T38N R28W, Lincoln County, MT Pre-Bid Tour - There will not be a pre bid tour of this project. Interested parties may contact Eureka Ranger Station Technical Services at the at 406-296-7158 for directions to view the project site on their own. Estimated Start Date - It is anticipated that work can begin in Summer 2023. Period of Performance - Work shall be completed by January 31, 2024. �Government-Furnished Property (GFP) � None Permits - The contractor is responsible for all necessary permits including One Call 1-800-795-0555 before you dig Tentative Dates:����� Issuance of the Request for Quotes (RFQ):� � � � � � � 02/17/2023������� �������������������� Date for Questions Due:������������������������������� ������������ 03/08/2023 1500 MST Bid Submittal Deadline:������������������������������� ������������� 03/17/2023 1700 MST Period of performance:����������� Approximately 05/012023 to 01/31/2024 The Government plans to award a firm-fixed price contract.� Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. Set Aside: In accordance with FAR19.5, this project is set-aside 100% for small businesses.� The associated NAICS of this acquisition is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction.� Size Standard $39.5M Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is: (b) Between $25,000 and $100,000 Solicitation and Documents: The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://sam.gov/ on or about 02/172023. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. An organized site visit will not be scheduled. Interested vendors are encouraged to perform a site visit on their own.
