Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit a sole source, firm fixed price contract �under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) to Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation to provide maintenance and repair of the High Pressure Air Compressor (HPAC) Nos. 1 and 2 onboard a Los Angeles-class submarine. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice N32253-23-Q-0018, was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov, from 25 January 2023 � 30 January 2023 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement, which resulted in no other qualified sources from the industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 and the size standard for this NAICS code is 1,250. The Product Service Code is J036. The tentative Delivery Date is 10 March 2023. The Solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or about 03 February 2023. All dates and information included in this announcement are subject to change. This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-23-Q-0018, in accordance with FAR 5.204. This pre-solicitation notification does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
