- The National Guard Bureau (NGB) Operational Contracting Division (AQ-C) hereby issues an�the intent of the Government to sole source this requirement to Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source.��This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. However, any interested party that believes is capable of meeting our requirement may identify themselves but must submit evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement.�This will be an unrestricted procurement under NAICS Code 721110 and a period of performance of 17-21 July 2023 . It is the Government's intent to issue a Firm-Fixed Price type contract resulting from this requirement.�Offers will not be accepted from any third party agencies. Please note that quotes will be accepted directly from Hotels only. All responsible and responsive offers received prior to the closing date and time will be considered.�Due to high traffic in the area, the hotel shall be located within fifteen (15) miles of the Defense Pentagon (Washington, DC). Background: The SPP 30th Anniversary Conference is a Chief of the National Guard Bureau (CNGB) hosted event intended to celebrate the past successes of the SPP program. Additionally, the SPP 30th Anniversary, is intended to highlight key values of the program and to provide a strategic vision of the future of the SPP program. The keynote speaker for the SPP 30th Anniversary Conference will be the President of the United States of America (POTUS). Additionally, this event will bring together all Chiefs of Defense/Ministers of Defense (CHODS/MODS) of 95 SPP partnerships, 54 Adjutant Generals, Commanders of 6 Geographic Commands and key contributors to the SPP program, to include Defense Security Cooperation Agency, SPP Directors and SPP Bilateral Affairs Officers (BAO). Facility Requirements: The Contractor shall provide a facility within Fifteen miles (driving distance) of the Pentagon to accommodate between 650 - 800 guests. Main meeting space: The Contractor shall provide a facility to accommodate between 650 - 800 guests for the general session. The contractor�s facility shall provide at least 16,000 sq. ft. to afford ease of movement. The contractor�s facility shall be handicap accessible.�The contractor shall provide adequate space to accommodate at least 800 guests for a formal sit-down dinner with the means to prepare and serve the formal dinner. The dinner space must be co-located with entertainment space.�The facility must accommodate people seated in a classroom presentation format. The facility must have a minimum ceiling height of 20� clear (no chandeliers) and 23�trim height for truss and allow for multiple rigging points throughout the house to allow for theatrical lighting.�The contractor shall provide a facility with adequate space to accommodate a 36�x60� main stage with 2,730 sq. feet required for a stage build out. Entertainment space must be co-located with dinner space with 320 sq. ft. for a front of house riser.�The contractor shall provide a facility with adequate space for a group of at least 800 for entertainment.�The contractor shall provide a facility with adequate space for a reception, for at least 800 guests. Space must be separate from dinner entertainment, but in close proximity.�Contractor shall provide a facility that contains an installed power supply capable of supporting major production type lighting, sound and video screens, i.e., 240 sq. feet for camera risers, spot light towers, 40 sq. feet for Image Magnification Video Screens when considering usable table space.
