The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Service Brand Name GitHub Software Subscription & Maintenance Support. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the VA to contract for any supply or service. Further, the VA is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The VA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Governmentwide Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Governmentwide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The anticipated NAICS code is: 541519 Other Computer Related Services. A brief synopsis of the required product is provided below: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology Platform Support/Servers and Operating Systems/Linux-Unix Division requires software subscription and maintenance for the following GitHub software currently in use at the VA. GitHub enables code collaboration, version control and review capabilities that can be built into the development and release process. OI&T s continued requirement is to maintain its existing secure source control management system behind the VA s Firewall without loss of data, work disruption and/or production impacts that could potentially delay or stop services to Veterans. This will continue to need the vendor to provide one (1) telephone number and/or a point of contact for VA to contact and opening maintenance service calls. Vendor shall provide secure connection capabilities for the downloading of software updates and/or the uploading of diagnostic information. The preferred protocol for transfer is Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). This requirement is for the GitHub s OEM standard software subscription and maintenance support with online 24 x 7 X 365 coverage, phone and online support, unlimited technical contacts, and unlimited support cases per month, as identified in the table below. All deliverables, including the Delivery Support Information document, will be through the AACLicense@VA.GOV mailbox. Deliverables will include updated software licensing information and instructions on how to place service requests. Payment of invoices will not be made without proper distribution of the deliverables. The Period of Performance (PoP) is February 5, 2023 February 4, 2024 with four (4) 12-Month Option Periods. RESPONSES In response to this sources sought, please provided: Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, Unique Entity ID number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type (s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.), Authorized Reseller letter and the corresponding NAICS code. The following information details the Government s intent for this acquisition: The primary NAICS code for this effort is 541519 A Firm-Fixed Price contract will be issued. VA anticipates awarding the task order or contract to only one responsive, responsible contractor.
