This is NOT a request for proposal or invitation for bid. �Naval Facilities Engineering Command�(NAVFAC), Public Works Department (PWD) Newport, located at Newport, Rhode Island, announces a�requirement for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Services. Solicitation Number: �N4008523B2505 Title:� New Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Service Contract Location:� 1. Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Complex and Various Locations� � � � � � � � � �2. Navy Medical Readiness & Training Command (NMRTC) Complex and Various Location The Government will issue the solicitation as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) as an unrestricted (Full�& Open Competition) requirement. Contract award will be based on Far Part 14 � Sealed Bidding. �Award shall be made on the total sum of the Base Bid and (4) option years to the responsive and�responsible bidder with the lowest price acceptable to the Government. The IFB will be issued on or about 16 February 2023. �The offeror is responsible to monitor and�download any amendments for the solicitation from the Contract Opportunities (https://beta.sam.gov)�website. Description of Work: Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island is seeking qualified companies to perform maintenance,�repair, alteration for Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Services (Recurring & Non-Recurring) at NUWC and NMRTC, Naval Station Newport,�Rhode Island. The scope of work includes�inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition and minor construction for the following building systems: Fire alarm and detection systems Fire sprinkler systems (Wet & Dry) Fire Alarm Pre-action Panels Fire pump assemblies Fire pump �Flow Testing� Electric and Diesel CO2 fire suppression systems including Clean Agent and High and Low Pressure.
