- This Special Notice is to announce that the Health Readiness Contracting Office, Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX will conduct a Pre-Solicitation Conference/ Industry Day on 27 February 2023 for upcoming Healthcare Environmental Cleaning requirements at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH), Fort Campbell, KY and multiple medical treatment facilities (MTF) in the health service area (HSA) of BACH. The Conference/ Industry Day will take place at Fort Campbell, KY. The healthcare environmental cleaning and related services have been determined to be commercial in nature. The North American Industry Classification System code for these requirements is 561720-Janitorial Services and the small business size standard is $19.5 million. The requirements will be awarded using competitive procedures and will be procured as a 100% 8 (a) or Small Business Set-Aside. No official solicitation has been posted at this time for the above requirements; however, the draft Performance Work Statement is posted with this notice. This industry day conference is strictly to brief on the upcoming requirements and certain key areas that will be in the solicitation once posted. The solicitation W81K04-23-R-0011, will be issued at a later time as a Request for Proposal and will be posted electronically on the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) suite at (https://piee.eb.mil/). Interested small business and 8(a) contractors must register for the industry day and submit questions regarding the draft PWS concurrently to Ms. Catherine-Tehila Johnson at Catherine-tehila.o.johnson.civ@health.mil and copy Ms. Traci D. Leonard at traci.d.leonard2.civ@health.mil by 13 February 2023, 12:00 p.m. San Antonio, Texas Local Time. Subject line on the email must state (Industry Day - HEC FT Campbell - Company Name). Interested parties shall provide the following information for representatives attending (Limit 2 representatives per contractor) the industry day conference: Name(s), Company Name, Email Address of each attendee, Phone Number for each attendee, type of business set aside and Business Size Standard. Information regarding the industry time and address at Fort Campbell, KY will be provided to interested parties before 27 February 2023. Lastly, all updates will be provided by email to all registered attendees.
