ACTION: Notice of intent to grant exclusive license. SUMMARY: In compliance with Title 35, United States Code (U.S.C.), Section 209 and Title 37, Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.), Section 404.7, the Department of the Army hereby gives notice of its intent to grant to GRIP Molecular Technologies, Inc., of University Enterprise Labs, 1000 Westgate Drive, Saint Paul, MN 55114, an exclusive license to DEVCOM Soldier Centers interest in a jointly-owned invention. The invention to be licensed is DEVCOM Soldier Centers interest in PCT/US2020/061072 and U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 16/951,794, each filed on November 18, 2020 and titled Additively Manufactured Self-Supporting Microfluidics. Anyone wishing to object to the granting of this license has 15 days to file written objections along with supporting evidence, if any. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The prospective exclusive license may be granted unless within fifteen (15) days from the date of this published notice, DEVCOM Soldier Center receives written objections including evidence and argument that establish that the grant of the license would not be consistent with the requirements of Title 35, U.S.C., Section 209(e) and Title 37, C.F.R., Section 404.7(a)(1)(i). Competing applications completed and received by DEVCOM Soldier Center within fifteen (15) days from the date of this published notice will also be treated as objections to the grant of the contemplated exclusive license. Objections submitted in response to this notice will not be made available to the public for inspection and, to the extent permitted by law, will not be released under the Freedom of Information Act, Title 5, U.S.C., Section 552.
