Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order to CANI, Inc., 2500 Creekside Drive, Lansdale, PA� 19446.� In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, the Contractor is the only known responsible source who can provide the services for the requirement described below. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the NIH anticipates issuing a purchase order to renew vapor/dry fog room decontamination service.� CANI Inc. was the only vendor found to meet the requirements of EPA registered chemicals and a dry fog (non-residue) system. �CANI Inc. is the only known company available with the necessary equipment and chemicals to ensure area decontamination. No other vendor provides the equipment, services, supplies, repairs, training, and room mapping and analysis need to complete a proper decontamination on a routine basis.� All the current equipment used to generate vapor dry fog, includes proprietary custom-built stainless portable dry fog carts with solution container, utility connections, pressure controls, flow controls, extension stand; proprietary modified dispensing heads to produce the required micron size for the dry fog application; complete sterilant- compatible flow path components, process instrumentation and humidity monitoring equipment suitable for daily use; proprietary equipment and materials to isolate and control sterilant vapor concentration within room. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes.� However, any party that believes it can fulfill the requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to satisfy the requirement. �A determination by the Government to compete this proposed award based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that an award will be issued within ten (10) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that another organization has the capability to meet this requirement.
