Page 1 of 1 This is a sources sought announcement ONLY and is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotes. The information gathered from this request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only. The Government is not obligated, nor shall it pay for, any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The West Palm Beach VA Health System is seeking business concerns capable of providing the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center Facility address listed below: West Palm Beach VA Medical Center 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410 The contractor shall furnish Professional Services to provide domestic water treatment and monitoring of all domestic water systems. The West Palm Beach VAMC requires (2) SaniKill SKHP-800 monochloramine feed and control units, (4) SaniKill SKHP-060 feed and control units, (1) SaniKill SKHP-025 feed and control unit and (8) water quality monitors. This service contract is to provide all labor, tools, material, and leased special equipment necessary for a contractor to install secondary disinfection system with Mono-Chloramine generators for the domestic hot and cold-water systems, to perform system surveillance, period testing, lab analysis, recalibration, responsible for obtaining installation permits from FDEP/Health Department and required preventive maintenance to secondary disinfection system and equipment The contractor shall furnish a fully automatic leased system (continuous system Monitoring and Analysis of secondary disinfection system) for the safe flow-proportioned delivery of Mono-Chloramine into the domestic hot and cold-water systems of bldg. #1 (Main Hospital), domestic hot water system in the CLC/Hospice, domestic cold water for the Domiciliary, domestic cold water for the Fisher House, and domestic cold-water supply in the water tower. Contractor shall provide all management, tools, consumables, equipment, and qualified personnel necessary to provide monochloramine dosing to the domestic water systems. Monochloramine levels to be maintained between 2-4 ppm throughout the domestic water system. Contractor shall ensure that all work accomplished in the performance and meets all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and directives. Specifically, VHA Directive 1061Prevention of Healthcare-Associated Legionella Disease and Scald Injury from Potable Water Distribution Systems, and Florida DOH permit requirements. Provide continual remote monitoring from a web-based system for proper system operation and function. Provide access to the web-based system to the VA COR or technical representative, and up to 5 other VA users. No further information is available currently.
