Description

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Chicago Soft, Ltd, located at 1820 E. Edgewood Dr, Suite 103, Lakeland, FL 33803 for the purchase of renewing commercial software Chicago-Soft, Inc.�s MVS/QuickRef software tool product.� The requirement will have a Period of Performance (PoP) is for three years consisting of a base period of one-year with two (2) one-year option periods.� This software is proprietary and Chicago Soft, Ltd, is the sole source provider. �In addition, Chicago Soft has exclusive rights and does not authorize resellers or other entities to maintain it. � The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) ""Soliciting from a Single Source."" �Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona-fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. �A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. �All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted electronically via email to scott.amos@opm.gov by 1:00pm Eastern time January 24, 2023. �Telephone calls regarding this matter will be not be accepted nor returned.
