THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT January 26, 2023. The scope includes removal of the existing fiberglass shingle roof, associated flashings and underlayment to expose the roof deck. Repairs to the roof deck and the wood eave and rake trim will be in-kind and a new fiberglass shingle roof matching the existing roof in color and appearance will be installed. The valleys will be covered in a modified bitumen membrane roofing that will be similar to the original sheet membrane treatment of the valleys. The original sheet metal scuppers will be retained and reintegrated into the roofing system. The replacement windows are to be commercially available aluminum windows matching the existing windows in size and configuration and manner of operation to maintain the appearance of the existing fenestration. There is one option in the project to replace four exterior hollow metal doors and frames. The frames are generally standard frames and will be replaced in kind, however, the existing hollow metal doors have a porthole view window that no longer meets code and as a result are not available.
