Solicitation documents will be available on or about January 27, 2023. The solicitation will contain all necessary proposal instructions. Proposals will only be requested and accepted from Vendors that are verified and registered in SAM.gov and verified in VIP as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) from the Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21). *Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See https://www.sam.gov/SAM/pages/public/index.jsf ). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses shall have their ownership and control verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and be listed in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at https://vetbiz.va.gov/vip/ per VAAR 819.7003. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction., and the small business size standard is $39.5M. PSC Code is Z2DZ, Repair or Alteration of other Hospital Buildings. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of this construction project is anticipated between $100,000 and $250,000. Questions regarding this pre-solicitation must be sent in writing to Mr. Rosario Chaidez, Contract Specialist, at email: Rosario.chaidez1@va.gov The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendors who can furnish all labor and materials needed to perform all demolition, replacement, installation, and commissioning required by the scope of work (SOW) and provided specifications located at the Sacramento VA Medical Center, Mather CA. The Purpose of this project is to remove the existing De-ionized (DI) water system, and installation of a new Reverse Osmosis (RO) System, including demolition of existing and replacement of plumbing water piping to the new RO system for the Sterile Processing Department (SPS), Sacramento VA Medical Center (SVAMC) Building 650, 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655. Work must include, but not limited to the following: The Contractor must furnish all labor and materials needed to perform all demolition, replacement, installation, and commissioning required to remove the existing De-ionized (DI) water system, and install a Reverse Osmosis (RO) System, including demolition to existing and provide replacement of plumbing water piping to the new RO system for the Sterile Processing Department (SPS), located at the Sacramento VA Medical Center (SVAMC) Building 650, 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements. The SOW, provided specifications, drawings, and attachments for all details will be published when the Solicitation has been posted. The Period of Performance (POP) for this project is estimated to be around or about 120 calendar days or more from the given Notice to Proceed (NTP) date.
