- UPDATE (11 January 2023):� I would like to provide a quick update on DevMAC concerning where we are in the acquisition and what Industry can expect in the coming months. I apologize for the lack of updates on DevMAC.� The team responsible for DevMAC is severely undermanned and has been for several months.� Competing priorities and workload shifts have unfortunately caused DevMAC to fall behind schedule.� We are working to update the acquisition timeline so Industry can plan accordingly. �No decisions have been made concerning set-asides and teaming arrangements at this time.� We will continue to provide updates as those decisions are made. In addition, Industry will be given the opportunity to review the Draft Request for Proposals and provide comments.� More information about when Industry can expect these documents/decisions will be contained in the updated acquisition milestones. I also wanted to provide some background on the switch from HIVE.GOV to SAM.GOV.� The HIVE was shut down on December 7th, 2022 which necessitated the need to move DevMAC back to SAM.GOV.� FAR Part 5.003 mandates the use of a Government Point of Entry (GPE) and because Bidscale Connect was not a government website, I made the decision to move DevMAC updates to SAM.GOV.� This guarantees Industry has equal access to information concerning this solicitation. �I understand SAM.GOV lacks some functionality previously available on HIVE.GOV but we will do our best to provide information in a timely manner as well as continue to solicit your feedback as draft documents/concepts are available. UPDATE (6 January 2023): Files previously posted on the HIVE have been uploaded to this announcement.� UPDATE (5 January 2023):� Because the HIVE is no longer an active website, all attachments previously posted on the HIVE will be posted here soon.� UPDATE (4 Jan 23): We have received multiple requests for example projects for DevMAC and example environments currently being utilized by the PEO.� Examples of both are attached below and provided for informational purposes only.� Additional information will be posted over the next couple of days.� UPDATE (4 Jan 23): Updates on DevMAC will be posted in early January 2023.� Because HIVE.GOV is no longer active, all future updates on DevMAC will be posted on SAM.GOV.�� UPDATE (12 Jan 22): Industry Day information has been posted on HIVE.GOV.� Verified Registration: https://community.hive.gov/registrations/groups/43511 (website no longer active) Main DevMAC Page: https://community.hive.gov/main/groups/44056/lounge�(website no longer active) The Development Multiple Award Contract (DevMAC) is a critical component of the Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS) Program Executive Office (PEO) 3.0 digital transformation strategy, focused on producing teams of effective builders composing a world-class technology organization, well suited to adapt and evolve with the rapidly changing and on-demand environment around the Defense and Health ecosystem. The DevMAC aims to give the government access to a pool of elite technologists and a flexible marketplace for industry partners, developers, engineers, and more, ready to swarm on critical issues facing DHMS today. DHMS-Contracting Division (CD) is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals for this requirement. This notice should not be construed as a commitment of any type by the Government to take or not take any action. Please note DHMS-CD will not be responsible for any costs incurred by any entity which provides and/or attempts to provide information in response to this synopsis.
