- Description
- The contractor shall provide support of deployment preparation by disinfecting approximately 1800 pieces of equipment (see attached equipment listing) with Virkon S 1% Solution at Hunter Army Airfield, in accordance with this PWS and attachments. Disinfectant application will last from 23 January to 24 February 2023. This service does not include weekends or on any Federal holidays. Contractors will be off from 17 February to 20 February to honor Presidents� Day, unless doing so will prevent the sanitation of all required equipment on or before 24 February 2023 Contractor will not have to perform any cleaning or provide any power washing equipment.� Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, and chemicals to sanitize only all pieces of equipment at two (2) motor pools on Hunter Army Airfield Requiring activity/customer shall ensure that the contractor can set up near a fire hydrant and have electricity and water provided by the Government if needed. The contractor shall coordinate with the Directorate of Public Works for appropriate usage of fire hydrants and utilities, with the assistance of the Contracting Officer�s Representative if needed. The contractor shall ensure that each piece of equipment is free from waste, dirt, soil, mud, sand, organic, vegetal, animal or fecal matter, including insects, snails, spiders, cocoons, eggs or larvae. The contractor will spray each piece of equipment with the appropriate chemical - Virkon S for all equipment and Calla 1142 for aircraft wheels. Chemicals will have at least 10 minutes of contact time on each piece of equipment for effective sanitation. Services will be rendered at two (2) motor pools on Hunter Army Airfield.�
