- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION. THIS IS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF SOURCES PRIOR TO ISSUING THE RFP. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. The following information is provided to assist the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center � Puget Sound (FLC-PS) in conducting market research of industry to identify potential small businesses with interest and capability to support two DDG�s that have Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRAs) that require compensated fuel oil tanks to be emptied in support of maintenance work to be performed at�Bravo Pier, Naval Station Everett.� A copy of the current Performance Work Statement (PWS), which is in draft form, is attached to this notice. Attachment (1): DRAFT Performance Work Statement.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this proposed competitive procurement is 562219, with a small business size standard of $41,500,000. This procurement is for a single award, Firm Fixed-Price Service type contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5. Submission instructions: It is requested that interested businesses capable of providing the supplies sought submit a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating the ability to support the requested services per the attached PWS. No feedback or evaluations will be provided, via telephone or otherwise, regarding any submissions on this sources sought announcement. A. The documentation shall address the following: 1) Name and address of firm 2) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code number 3) Points of contact (names, titles, email addresses and phone numbers) 4) Small Business designation/status (8(a), HUBZone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business) 5) Whether your business is a manufacturer or dealer/distributor B. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE in performing efforts of similar scope and complexity for the PWS. The following Government or commercial information shall be provided for your firm�s relevant experiences: 1) Contract Number, period of performance and contract value. 2) Indication of whether your firm acted as the prime contractor or was a subcontractor. 3) Brief summary of work performed and how it relates to this requirement.� Interested small businesses should review and understand the requirements in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 19 and FAR clause 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary and the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This sources sought synopsis does not constitute a Solicitation or an RFP, nor does this issuance restrict the Government�s acquisition approach.
