Description

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Gallup Service Unit, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Steris Corporation, EIN Number UGGQJGGH6846, for service repair of the Steris Evolution Sterilizer as required by the Biomedical Engineering department of the Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) located in Gallup, New Mexico.� Award will be for a base period of 30 days from the date of award. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Steris Corporation is uniquely qualified to provide the required services for service repair of the Steris Evolution Sterilizer, to ensure there is no interruption in services that could have a negative impact on direct patient care. The Steris Evolution Sterilizer will undergo a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) replacement and installation of software and configuration service for the new PLC board according to manufacturer specifications. Steris Corporation will ensure proper operation of the sterilizer after replacement services are performed. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. ��Any potential sources other than Steris Corporation may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Stephen J. Silversmith, Contract Specialist, at stephen.silversmith@ihs.gov by 10:00 AM MT on Monday, December 26, 2022. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. ��Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
