Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.� The U.S. Department of Energy�s Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) intends to issue a firm-fixed award to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, Ovid Technologies, Inc. �DOE intends to award this requirement as a sole source contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option year periods.� Ovid Technologies is the sole provider for access to the required online journal.� The incumbent contractor shall provide the Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Science (SC) an online journal institutional subscription for online access to The Radiation Safety Journal: Official Journal of the Health Physics Society published by Ovid Technologies. �Access is restricted to the Office of Science. �DOE is provided with a direct link to the website which is listed on the OSTI.gov website under the pulldown tab labeled research tools via the SCeJournals link button. �This is for the Office of Science and is not publically accessible.� Subscription period is 2/28/2023-2/28/2024. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 513120 � Periodical Publishers, with the size standard of 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes. Any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the DOE-OSTI�s requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by January 3, 2023, by 5:00 p.m. EST.� Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to paynet@osti.gov.� A determination not to compete the proposed order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� Please note that any prospective offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to award in accordance with FAR part 4.11.
