- This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This IS NOT a REQUEST for PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, or BIDS. Responses to this request will not be returned. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. It is the intent of the Government to use this information for market research purposes only. The purpose of the sources sought is to determine the interest of industry within NAICS code 541370, and to establish that there are adequate large and/or small business contractors for providing the work described below. The Government WILL NOT pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of any such information. If a formal solicitation is released, it will be via SAM.gov.� Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) has a requirement for two (2) to three (3) Geographic Information System (GIS) specialists to support the Department of Installation Services operations. The contractor would be responsible for GIS sustainment, strategic development and implementation and demonstration of the enterprise-wide GIS to include further integration of the Facility/Equipment Management System, enhanced GIS software user upgrades, mobile mapping capabilities, and increased data and analysis for advanced planning and situational awareness. A DRAFT Scope of Work (SOW) is provided. This SOW may or may not be the final PWS used in the solicitation. Directorate of Installation Services, Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, Pa.� Workstations for each GIS employee working under this contract will be provided. Period of performance is one base year with four, one year, options. Actual quantities are unknown at the time of the sources sought. Actual quantities will be provided, via solicitation, if the Government chooses to procure these items. All interested business concerns for this requirement shall submit the following: - Company name - DUNS number - CAGE number - Years in business - Indicate their business size classification (Large, Small, 8a, WOSB, etc�) - Statement of capability and qualifications of the organization to perform the requirement - List of similar GIS projects or services provided over the past 5 years including a description of the project and service specifics. - Estimated cost - Whether your company can perform the SOW in its entirety or the company is limited per state/region. ** EACH SUBMISSION SHOULD NOT EXCEED 5 PAGES TOTAL** All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD System for Award Management by award (SAM) before award as required by FARS 4.605. Also, firms who receive a federal contract in excess of $25,000.00 are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
