Description
THIS IS A MODIFICATION TO THE REVISED SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. SEE REVISED FORM S-1 (Rev 12-5-22). OFFERORS SHALL USE THE REVISED FORM S-1 (Rev 12-5-22) TO SUBMIT RESPONSE.�� 1. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Theintent of this notice is to identify potential off erors for market research purposes. 2. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment,facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide Integrated SolidWaste Collection and Disposal Services at Various Locations, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, but is notlimited to, providing multiple containers and Integrated Solid Waste collection and disposal services toensure all integrated solid wastes are properly collected and disposed . The Contractor is responsible for removal, treatment (as required) and disposition of integrated solid wastes to include but not limited to:foreign garbage, packaged asbestos, special handling waste, biosolids, green waste, and industrialwaste generated from all areas as specified ; furnish and position each multiple container (which includes�On-Call� multiple containers) at the Multiple Container Stations (MCS) to best aid the user in disposing ofsolid waste and to minimize interference with adjacent sidewalks, parking areas, roadways, etc.; removeintegrated solid wastes to ensure Integrated Solid Waste is properly collected; remove recyclable waste toensure it is properly collected and recycled; remove bio-solids from multiple containers to ensure it isproperly collected; remove bulky waste to ensure it is properly collected; dispose of all integrated solidwaste, non-recyclable solid waste, to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal lawsand regulations; recycle solid waste to ensure compliance with the installation�s waste reduction policy;maintain vehicles and equipment in a manner to ensure a clean appearance, minimal foul odors, andnormal working condition; provide containers suitable for the collection and disposal of all solid waste,disposal of refuse, rubbish; provide containers suitable for the collection and recycling of materials; providecompactors and containers suitable for the collection and disposal of refuse, rubbish and solid waste; cleanand disinfect all multiple containers. 3. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. The total term of thecontract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. The Government will not synopsize the optionswhen exercised. Procurement Method: Contracting by Negotiation. The NAICS Code for this procurementis 562111 and the annual size standard is $41,500,000.00. 4. Interested sources capable of providing the required services must respond by e-mail tojulie.m.shimoda.civ@us.navy.mil no later than December 6, 2022. Interested sources shall provide theirresponse using Attachment S-1. 5. No other information is required at this time. Please do not submit brochures, letters, etc. Thissources sought announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed asa commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award acontract. An award will not be made on responses to this notice. This Sources Sought Synopsis is not aRequest for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability ofsources prior to issuing an RFP. Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement.
