- This is a Request for Information. This request is being provided to contract holders of contract vehicles that may potentially be used to procure the services described in this document. This is a sources sought and request for information notice for the Library of Congress in an attempt to identify commercially available solutions for support. There is no solicitation at this time. This synopsis is being issued by the Library for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a possible future acquisition. No award will be made from this sources sought. The Library is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The Library of Congress reserves the right to cancel this Request for Information, any corresponding solicitation issued in the future or use another Government-wide contract vehicle or open market solicitation for these services.�� This Request for Information shall not be construed in any way to be a solicitation and is for informational purposes only. Please provide any response or inquiry electronically (limited to 20 pages) no later than 1/3/2023 to Contracting Officer Michael Schuman at mschuman@loc.gov and Contract Specialist Kevin Barnes at kbarnes@loc.gov. Questions regarding this RFI must be submitted to Contracting Officer Michael Schuman at mschuman@loc.gov and Contract Specialist Kevin Barnes at kbarnes@loc.gov no later than 12/12/2022. Congress has directed the Library to perform a strategic study for the Legislative Branch Financial Management System (LBFMS).� The intent of this study is to evaluate the federal financial systems marketplace and identify potential options for the next multi-year financial system support contract.� The Library intends to determine the strategic path forward for LBFMS through evaluations and discussions with providers of platform capabilities in the federal financial management system marketplace.� As part of this study, the Library requests that vendors provide information regarding their capabilities to deliver financial management system and support services.
