Description
The Air Force intends to solicit the following service:� 76 AMXG requires Engineering Programming support from the Original Equipment Manufacturer This is a one-time service for Water Jet Cutting of the material listed in GFP Attachment #2. �The Contractor shall, at a minimum, comply with the following requirements. a)�� �Item Requirement: �Produce twelve (12) sets of Flight Control Cradles, constructed in accordance with (IAW) the following attached drawing:� ��� �X9965801 � Cradles, Flight Controls, Trailer b)�� �Design Requirement: �Refer to drawing and CAD model for all dimensional reference for fabrication. �All tolerances shall be strictly followed. � c)�� �Material: �Materials will be supplied by the Government. �The Government Furnished Material is listed in GFP Attachment #2. � ��� �All Government furnished material shall be returned to the Contracting Officer upon completion of the contract. � ��� �The Contractor shall be liable for the loss or damage of such property, and shall replace lost or damaged articles at no expense to the Government. � d)�� �Contractor Qualifications & Responsibilities: �The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, parts, incidentals, consumables, quality control, transportation and any other items necessary to produce twelve (12) sets of Flight Control Cradles. � ��� �The Contractor shall have professional manufacturing capabilities to produce clean, consistent parts of materials compatible with the proposed process for the specified use. � ��� �The Contractor shall have experience in water jet cutting Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. ��� �The Contractor shall be ISO 9001 certified. ��� �Any changes to the design described by the attached drawings and design specifications must be approved in writing by the project Subject Matter Expert (SME). � e)�� �Acceptance and Testing:� ��� �The Contractor shall deliver one (1) complete set of Flight Control Cradles within twenty-one (21) calendar days after receipt of material. � ��� �The Government Subject Matter Expert (SME) will conduct an initial review to verify that the parts are IAW attached drawings. � ��� �The Government will notify the Contractor, in writing, of acceptance/non-acceptance within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of parts.� ��� �Rejected parts shall be corrected as required, and resubmitted for review and approval by the Government Subject Matter Expert (SME). � ��� �Corrections that are not within control of the Government, such as corrections for miscut, misaligned, insufficiently deburred, etc., will be made at the expense of the Contractor. � ��� �The Contractor is responsible for all costs associated with delivery and/or travel for any required modifications. �The Contractor shall arrange for delivery of parts �from Tinker AFB to their location. � ��� �The Contractor shall complete any modifications or changes necessary within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the Government�s written notification. � ��� �The Government Subject Matter Expert (SME) shall notify the Contracting Officer (CO) of final acceptance in writing within 7 days of delivery. � ��� �After final acceptance, the Contractor shall deliver eleven (11) additional completed sets of Flight Control Cradles �within sixty (60) calendar days of receipt of final acceptance notification of the initial first set. � ��� �Assemblies shall be packaged and shipped in a manner that prevents them from being damaged or destroyed. � A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: �4 Months ARO System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 with a size standard of 11.00 Mil. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal.
