Description

Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR), Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Quantico, VA hereby gives notice of intent to award a purchase order to Actian Corporation (CAGE Code: 4AZL1) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to provide Actian Datacenter Software Maintenance Support for perpetual licenses with a support period of 12-months. The applicable NAICS Code is 513210- Software Publishers. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items.�Therefore, the government intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis from Actian Corporation, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered.��Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses shall be emailed to Melissa Chabot at melissa.chabot@usmc.mil no later than 28 November 2022, 08:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Late responses will not be considered.
